My daughter started at LFFM in Jan 2020. We came from a much larger Montessori school in the area. We absolutely love the quaint in-home feel and emphasis on every day life and outdoors. My daughter's personality is quiet and cautious but after one morning she was ready to eagerly walk into school each day and hardly looked back at me. This is a wonderful, diverse, small community of other parents and kids. The teacher worked hard to maintain a connection with kiddos during the closure this spring and has diligently worked to create a safe and healthy environment for them to continue getting the social interaction and learning they need, even during this unprecedented time.

We as a family have much enjoyed our time at Little Fruit Farm Montessori. From the moment my husband and I stepped inside for a tour of the school we were welcomed into a very warm and inviting space that we knew our son would feel very comfortable coming. Miss Lauren has been such a great influence into our sons life and everyday he came he was excited to go and always happy when he left. I would recommend this school to anyone wanting a safe/comfortable and happy place for their little one to go. My son has come leaps and bounds from when he started.

Little fruit farm was amazing for both of our girls. Ms. Lauren is a very thorough and talented teacher. Our kids always enjoyed coming to school each day. We loved the small class size and the independence it gave our kids. It was amazing to see the transformation in our kids over the years. We have nothing but positive things to say and highly recommend this school to everyone!

My wife and I have interviewed a dozen of Montessori places, and we decided to have our kids to go here because of: 1, Ms. Lauren lives a healthy and self-caring lifestyle; 2, She is very disciplined and always put kids in the first place; 3, She loves and teaches kids with Montessori principles; 4, Diversity of the environment.
I can see my kids like and learned a lot here.

My son has been with Lauren at Little Fruit Farm Montessori for over a year. He started at 2.5 years old and had an instant and enduring connection with Lauren.
Lauren is devoted and attentive, nurturing the students at their individual levels and catering to their specific needs, physically, emotionally, and intellectually. She sees ability and promise in all her students, and is truly an advocate for the child.

We loved Little Fruit Farm! Our daughter started when she was 18 months! She learned so much! We liked that it was so small. Not too overwhelming : ) Lauren is great!

The teacher knows the finer points of Montessori and implements them with heart and soul. If you want a small, safe environment for your child it would be worth your time to call Lauren. She and I have worked together for many years and I highly recommend the school. Your child will be very happy in this loving, safe, academically sound, super clean and pure Montessori nest/ school. Lauren is the BEST!

My daughter is a new student Lauren's beautiful little school. The Montessori method she uses is wonderful in teaching concentration and manners. The kids enjoy beautiful activities and creative learning. The outside space is enchanting and she enjoys working in the garden, right now they are harvesting fresh strawberries and making jam! I wish she could stay here forever!

My daughter attends this school and we have been very happy with our experience. My daughter loves it there and loves her 'teacher' who is actually called a facilitator. There were some issues in the past with assistants but now there is only one teacher with a small group of children which is working out nicely. I love the small group (less illnesses) and the focus on healthy lifestyles and nature. My daughter is well adjusted and more than ready to enter kindergarten in the fall: reading Level I books, counts past 100 and can do simple addition and subtraction. The school recently relocated to a new location which has less outside play space but a nicer classroom.

We have been very happy with our experience with Little Fruit Farm. We moved from out of state with a previous experience in Montessori and fell in love with the small, intimate experience our son gets with Lauren at this school. He loves to share what he learned during the day and enjoys all the outdoor activities she provides. It is a true Montessori school and I feel lucky to have found it for my son. I would recommend to other parents looking for a calm, welcoming environment.

As a Montessori child of the 1970s, I knew I wanted my children to have that same experience. I researched schools in the Portland/Beaverton area for the "right" Montessori program. I chose Little Fruit Farm because the owner and facilitator of the school, Lauren, embodies the essence of the Montessori way. She is a highly skilled instructor and practitioner of the Montessori Method. I remember visiting the school before enrolling my oldest son and just walking around the various learning ares brought back so many positive memories...the red rods, the brown blocks, the sensorium...and hearing Lauren's specific plans for our son sealed the deal for me. Such a diverse, creative, intimate learning environment--my 4 year old loves going to school and my 2 year old is now being introduced as well. I see such positive changes in language development, social skills, reading/writing, and creativity. Little Fruit Farm Montessori has my highest recommendation.

I think the comments in the review below should be disregarded and seen as a travesty against a woman who has devoted her life's work and passion to educating our children during their most critical period of development.

    LFFM
Super cute and cozy school. My almost 4 year old has been going there for a year and a half now- loves it. Caring teacher Lauren- keeps focus on kids first. Took a bit to get used to her rules and her style, but found it worthwhile to see my daughter bloom and focus better.
